Manitou Group signs contract with HD Construction Equipment

Manitou Group and HD Construction Equipment have signed a Cross OEM agreement where Manitou Group will build skid steers and trackloaders for HD Construction Equipment to be commercialized under the Hyundai and Develon brand names* . HD Construction Equipment will produce mini excavators for Manitou Group under both Manitou and Gehl brands.
Our communication department has just communicated to the international press and you might receive questions from your customers.

The mini excavators (MEX) will be available for Manitou and Gehl subsidiaries and dealers in Europe, North America and the LAPAM region.
The SSL/CTL will be commercialized only in North America and the Lapam region.

We are pleased to be able to widen our product portfolio in the earth moving category with a full line of mini excavators.  9 models will be available for Europe, ranging from 1 ton up to 8.5 ton.

The expected launch dates in Europe – Late April 2027.
